Drexel Fashion Show 2025
The branding for the 2025 Drexel University Fashion Design Senior Show was created to capture the collective identity of nearly forty individual designers while celebrating the uniqueness of each voice. Rather than relying on a single sketch or garment concept, the visual system drew inspiration from the tools and processes used in garment construction, reflecting the creativity, experimentation, and craftsmanship behind each collection. A core palette of four primary colors was expanded with complementary tertiary hues tailored to each designer, allowing the branding to feel cohesive while still supporting individual expression. Inspired by the environmentally influenced tones and organic textures found throughout the students’ work, the palette conveys sophistication, independence, and individuality without overshadowing the collections themselves. I led the design process for the group, designing the logo, selecting the typeface, and collaborating with a group mate to curate the color palette. The typographic logo was designed as a subtle nod to the architecture of the Perelman Building, whose strong structural pillars frame the runway experience. By keeping the mark abstract yet bold, the identity was able to echo the dynamic space while providing a strong visual foundation that elevated and unified the designers’ work.
